The CALT course prepares Assistant Leader Trainers to support Wood Badge courses and contribute to the national scouting training team. Participants will develop skills to mentor scouts and counselors, promoting scouting across Pakistan.

Objectives

After completing this course, the Scout Leader will be able to:

  1. Work as a Course Leader in the Shaheen Scout Leader Course.
  2. Serve as a Team Member in the Wood Badge Training Course.
  3. Play a role in promoting Scouting in Pakistan as a member of the training team.
  4. Act as a Counselor for the Wood Badge Project.

Organization

Conducted by National Headquarters or with its permission by Provincial Headquarters

Eligibility

  1. Educational qualification of at least Intermediate (equivalent to high school diploma).
  2. At least two years of active experience as a Wood Badge holder.
  3. The Wood Badge Parchment should not be more than ten years old; otherwise, successful participation in a Wood Badge Workshop is required to be eligible for CALT.
  4. Recommendation from the relevant Provincial Association for participation in the course.

Issuance of Honourable Charge

Conditions

  1. Certificate of participation in the Assistant Leader Trainers Course.
  2. Successful completion of the ALT Course assessment report.
  3. Recommendation from the relevant Provincial Association on the prescribed form (Annex-E).

Appointment

The appointment of an Assistant Leader Trainer will be for two years from the date of the issuance of the Honourable Charge, signed by the Chief Commissioner and Director Adult Training. After this, the Assistant Leader Trainer can wear three beads. This appointment can be renewed for an additional two years upon the recommendation of the Provincial Association
