The CLT course is designed for Leader Trainers to lead Wood Badge courses and join the National Training Team. It emphasizes advanced training techniques, allowing participants to wear four beads as a symbol of leadership authority.

Objectives

After completing this course, the Scout Leader will be able to:

  1. Work as a Leader in the Wood Badge Course.
  2. Become a member of the National Training Team and contribute to promoting Scouting in Pakistan.
  3. Guide as a Counselor for the Wood Badge Project.

Importance

  • Educational Qualification: At least a graduate degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two years of experience as an Assistant Leader Trainer.
  • Experience in conducting courses for the relevant section.
  • The ALT Honourable Charge should not have been held for more than ten years. Otherwise, successful participation in an ALT Workshop is required to be eligible for CLT.
  • Recommendation from the relevant Provincial Association for participation in the course.

Issuance of Honourable Charge

Conditions

  • Certificate of participation in the Leader Trainer Course.
  • Successful completion of the LT Course assessment report.
  • Recommendation for appointment on the prescribed form (Annex-F) from the relevant Provincial Association.

Appointment

The appointment of a Leader Trainer will be for two years from the date of the issuance of the Honourable Charge, signed by the Chief Commissioner and Director of Adult Training. After this, the Leader Trainer can wear four Beads. This appointment can be renewed upon the recommendation of the Provincial Association

Withdrawal of Honourable Charge

The Honourable Charge of any Leader Trainer or Assistant Leader Trainer can be withdrawn by the Chief Commissioner based on the Provincial Commissioner’s recommendation, in consultation with the Director of Training and Program.

Note: If you change your Provincial Association, you must obtain the Honourable Charge through the newly selected Association.
