Sindh Boy Scouts Association
Empowering Youth

The Special Scouts Program of the Sindh Boy Scouts Association is dedicated to empowering Differently Abled Scouts within the Shaheen, Boy Scout, and Rover sections. This program is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of their abilities, has the opportunity to experience the joy, learning, and camaraderie of scouting.

Who Are Special Scouts?

Children in Wheelchairs

Scouting ensures that children in wheelchairs participate in inclusive activities that enhance their mobility, independence, and social connections.

Down Syndrome Children

Scouting teaches Down Syndrome children to be calm, friendly, and enjoy events, while building social skills and self-confidence through interactive activities.

Blind Children

Scouting helps blind children develop their other senses and skills, enhancing their independence and confidence through adapted outdoor and team activities.

Children with Physical Handicaps

Scouting offers tailored activities that accommodate their physical abilities, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and self-reliance.

Deaf and Dumb Children

Scouting provides a supportive environment for deaf and dumb children to improve their communication skills and engage in social interactions, fostering a sense of belonging.

Other Children with Different Disabilities

Scouting provides customized programs that cater to the unique needs of each child, encouraging personal growth, skill development, and a sense of achievement.

These scouts participate in all the typical scouting activities, adapted to their needs, and are supported by their peers and leaders.

Annual Event: Agonooree

Every year, we organize a significant event called Agonooree for Differently Abled Scouts. This event brings together scouts from all sections to celebrate their achievements and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities.

Support and Inclusion

Scout Leaders and Volunteers: Our dedicated leaders and volunteers provide ongoing support and encouragement. Peer Support: Scouts without disabilities are encouraged to help and support their differently abled peers in various activities and events.

Special Schools and Scout Groups

We have partnerships with special schools where we run scout groups specifically for Differently Abled Scouts. These groups engage in all scouting activities and have their own special scout bands.

Encouragement and Community

We believe in fostering a community where every scout feels included, supported, and valued. By encouraging our scouts to help each other, we build a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect.
