The Gulistan-e-Scouts Training Center was established in 1967 when Justice Zahoor-ul-Haq bought the land from the Karachi Development Authority. His goal was to create a dedicated space for scouting activities. Over the years, the center has been developed and improved during different periods.
In 2011, major improvements were made when Muhammad Siddique Memon became the Provincial Scout Commissioner. He led the construction of important facilities such as the Muhammad Siddique Memon Scouts Sports Complex, the Scouts Resource Center, and the Scouts Complex. He also oversaw the rebuilding of the walls around the training center and other development projects. The next Provincial Scout Commissioner, Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, continued these construction efforts to keep improving the center.
The Gulistan-e-Scouts Training Center can host over 4,000 scouts, providing excellent camping facilities. Here, scouts can enjoy living in a natural setting while learning new skills and receiving valuable training. The center also hosts many scouting events where scouts can participate in various activities and programs designed to help them grow and develop.
